PANTANAL

The Piraputanga Park Road, spanning just over 40 km, begins a little over 90 kilometers from Campo Grande, on BR-262, in the territory of the municipality of Dois Irmãos do Buriti, and ends in the city of Aquidauana. It is characterized by the unique scenic beauty provided by the transition between the plateau of the Maracaju Mountains and the Pantanal plain, with highlights including the rapids of the Aquidauana River and the Blue and Paxixi hills, which attract an increasing number of trekking enthusiasts in search of the wonderful Pantanal landscape from its viewpoint. Its route includes the localities of Palmeiras, Piraputanga, and Camisão, where various options for ecotourism, cycling, rural and gastronomic tourism, birdwatching, and even more ecotourism can be found!
